John Fraser represents the strength required in meeting Sungrow’s work ethic. He has managed to keep 99% of our customers happy and satisfied. Last month, he became a supervisor. He managed parts and services just as an FSE (Field Service Engineer). Surprisingly enough, he did not know anything about battery systems; yet, he took it upon himself to learn everything he would need to know. So that he could manually charge batteries as needed, he created a mobile charging station to take with him to sites. In doing so, he saved Sungrow about $10k a visit from CKS (3rd party vendor).
John has surpassed expectations on every one of his projects. The systems coming from overseas are showing up with missing parts, wires, and diagrams to complete the work; John must learn on the fly and has done it without any supervision and minimal support. The system is not UL listed and tested, so he has found vendors in various states to get these systems inspected and up and running for our customers. He spends countless hours after leaving the site to do tons of paperwork and calls with HQ on his off time; just to make sure he is ready to meet the demands of our customers. Along with his undeniable talent, John has always been an absolute joy to work with. A true team player and someone who always fosters positive discussions and brings the best out of other employees.
