    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    The Position:

    Accounting Clerk responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements. This role will also run accounting software programs (e.g. QuickBooks/SAP) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts. A successful Accounting Clerk should be familiar with all accounting procedures and be willing to constantly learn and adapt to Sungrow work culture. The idea candidate is expected to succeed in a paperless accounting department. This Accounting Clerk will work in a fast-paced environment that includes the ability to multitask between a variety of virtual platforms, databases, and spreadsheets.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    ·       Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting/finance department

    ·       Create and send customer invoices

    ·       Post customer payments

    ·       Prepare lien waivers to be signed and sent

    ·       Data entry into lien waiver system

    ·       Maintain lien waiver system and reconcile to active projects

    ·       Data entry into customer credit insurance

    ·       Report open AR to customer credit insurance company

    ·       Responsible for establishing system solutions of North America PV & Energy Storage business

    ·       Track market demands from key accounts, set up a channel between R&D and customers

    ·       Collect changing market conditions on a regular basis, establish strategic measures to compete in the market and push R&D department to adjust technical programs

    Director-Energy Storage Product Engineering

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    This Position

     requires regular communication with customers to provide product level engineering support and guidance for Sungrow energy storage system solution. The candidate will interact with customers on regular basis to understand their product technical requirements and overall design criteria in order to work with HQ engineering team to define next generation Energy Storage Product. The candidate will work as a key technical liaison with owner’s engineer and EPC partners during the design and construction phases. Directly facing customers and answer technical questions and provide technical guidance on system design, system testing and commissioning. Working closely with Sungrow Service team and system solution center to draft technical document and generate high level product and system specifications. The candidate will need to travel on regular basis as part of the sales and technical team. The candidate will also need to travel to the site from time to time to perform on-site technical support during the project execution phase. This position will require up to 50% travel time. This position will be part of the sales group and report to the Managing Director of Americas, Energy Storage. This position will be based in the greater bay area, California or Texas.


    OUR REQUIREMENTS

    ·       Minimum total Ten (10) years’ experience in renewable industry or Energy Storage OEM.

    ·       Minimum Five (5) years’ direct technical experience from any of the following industries, such as energy storage integrator, Energy Storage OEM, battery OEM etc

    ·       Minimum Five (5) years’ direct utility level Energy Storage product design experiences, able to define high level product specification and system application requirement

    ·       Deep knowledge and direct experience in battery system installation, construction, design phase engineering, local jurisdiction requirement, project scheduling, system layout design, SLD etc.

    ·       In depth technical knowledge of ESS product and system technical requirement in different market sectors (CAISO, ERCOT, NEISO ect)

    ·       Proficient in AutoCAD or other drawing software to generate standard engineering drawing packages

    ·       Proficient in MS project software to generate project schedule and project management sheet.

    ·       Thorough understanding and proficiency of local jurisdiction requirement, fire code UL9540/A, NFPA, NEC code, Electrical Safety Regulation, IBC etc.

    ·       Good technical writing skills and be able to draft working instructions or Application Note

    ·       Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

    ·       Previous direct power conversion or battery system experience is a strong plus

    ·       Self-motivated, team player and quick learner 

    ·       Master degree as minimal, PhD degree is a strong plus
