The Rosendin Electric business began in 1919 as a small family-owned shop on Race Street in San Jose, CA. Since then, they have experienced and grown despite the fluctuating economy.. As a result, Sungrow and Rosendin have successfully collaborated on projects such as the notable Aktina Renewable Power project in Wharton County, Texas. The massive 500 MW is the largest solar project in Texas. To complete this project, Rosendin hired 500 employees and union contractors, 30% of whom are women--surpassing industry standards.
