In a first-of-its-kind test, Sungrow demonstrated the safety of its PowerTitan energy storage system. Sungrow intentionally lit a full-size 20ft standalone PowerTitan BESS on fire to ensure it could successfully contain “thermal runaway” without it spreading to other BESS units.

On August 11th, seven members of Sungrow USA embarked on the first of hopefully many trips for US personnel to our headquarters in Hefei, China. With members from different teams across the US, it was a great opportunity to not only meet face-to-face with our counterparts in Hefei but also with team members across the organization, thus expanding our knowledge about the company.

This July we are acknowledging our amazing Finance Manager, Josh Bishop. Josh started Sungrow in October of 2018. He is a St. Louis native, who relocated to Phoenix. 

This June we are celebrating Faye from our IT Department! Faye started at Sungrow in June of 2020 and has over a decade of IT administration experience. She relocated to San Francisco from China in 2013 and we are so happy to have her as part of the Sungrow family several years later! 

This month we are highlighting Hillary Hoffman for our employee spotlight. Hillary is our Sales Support Manager and is based in Phoenix, Arizona.
